New Canonical Phone Leaked? The Ubuntu Edge?

It's looks like Canonical may be getting ready for a major release next week. The problem is, no one is really sure what that is. Earlier today, pics were leaked on the web of a boxy yet sleek metallic gray smartphone. Speculators suggest that this product, whatever it is will be called "Edge". There is also a high possibility that "Edge" might in fact be the name of a new Operating System, a mobile version of its Ubuntu OS. 

What is certain is that smartphones running Ubuntu will be shipping later this year. Until then, pre-release buils of the OS are available which can run on existing smartphones and tablets. The beta OS allows for browsing the web, making phone calls and use beta apps.
