Google Patents A New Way To Swipe

The hard workers in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has given the green light on a Patent to Google who has created a "new" way of swiping to both unlock phones and record specific patterns to access apps therein. 

Google is said to forsee a way where users can open applications, call up certain action or even make calls based on the pattern which one swipes on their device. 

Google applies for an is granted numerous patents each year. Many times, those patents do not make it onto upcoming devices or technology. It remains to be seen if this technology will be interegrated in the next version of its Android OS.
