DiFi Marketplace Android App Review

There seems to be a marketplace for everything these days. eBay, Amazon, Mercari, you name it. Those are marketplaces for tangible products. Where does one go for digital files, NFTs and the like? There are sites which offer files for download with membership fees. Those have always existed. You can also purchase files on legacy sites. DiFi Marketplace, a newcomer offers and alternative. Could this be the place you've always wanted to browse and shop and were upset never existed until now? Let's find out.

DiFi Marketplace is a modern digital marketplace for the 2020s. To use, the app does not require any formal registration. Simply connect your digital wallet (i.e. Binance, Metamask, etc), add some funds to your wallet if necessary, and go! It really is that simple. There are some tight security checks. When we loaded up DiFi, we actually did not have a wallet. The app guided us through the steps to create one. Once we connected it to DiFi, the app immediately gave the option to upload files for sale. Nice touch. If you need your hand held more, no worries, DiFi has a short, but detailed tutorial which will help you get setup in no time.

What exactly can you upload or browse for? EBooks, educational material, games, operating system files, antivirus and security items, open source material, dartabase files, programming information and quite a bit more. All items can be filtered by price, upload date and ratings. At this time, the Open Source category was the most populated. As the application was just released, expect some time for mass adoption. Still, we found browsing straight forward. The interface has a light and dark mode. We chose dark mode as it was easier on the eyes. Finally, there were a lot of interface customization options that helped us tailor the user experience to our liking.

When it comes to selling, it is equally as straight forward. When you opt to sell, the upload screen is a one pager which makes setting things up super easily. First you enter the title of what you wish to solicit. After adding a description, you set the category, compatibility, price, upload the file itself, enter a thumbnail and finally screenshots. Once that's complete, you are ready to go. All transactions are facilitated with your attatached wallet. You can switch wallets when you see fit. DiFi works with most major cryptocurrency-based wallets.
