Blackberry phones, worth it?

Postby brem » Wed Sep 18, 2013 10:00 pm

I remember when the iPhone came out, it pretty much killed off any chance the Blackberry had. Now that Blackberry is officially back, is it safe to say it can survive? Or is it going to die out very soon? I know their phones are quite nice, but the OS on them don't appeal to most. Anyways, Blackberry good? Yes or no?

Blackberry is in last place in the mobile phone market, at least I think it is. I know it's Android, iPhone, Windows phone and I can't think of what is in 4th, 5th and so on. Blackberry is clearly after Windows phone and that's not good. You have so much to choose from when you have these platforms already.

They can have knockoff operating systems that try to copy other popular ones, but fail miserably at performance and style. I have a knockoff phone that I got a while back for fun, and it's awful. Some of these phones do have android, but it's a really old version of the OS. I'd say stick to the real deal, otherwise you may face problems. These devices are easy to crack and people could easily hack to get info. At least I imagine it being so easy because of how awful they are.
